PKL Healthcare provides well-designed, high quality decant ward accommodation built to permanent standards. Our facilities can assist healthcare service providers in improving the quality of healthcare and achieving tough government targets.
The design of these decant wards can be adjusted to meet your specific requirements but can include a combination of our standard layouts including six bed wards, four bed wards or single en-suite rooms.
Experience
PKL Healthcare has recently completed two large fast track facilities. A 24-bed pilot ward scheme consisting purely of single en-suite rooms for an NHS Trust in the south of England and a 56-bed two-storey ward for an NHS Trust in the North of England. Benefits
The modular nature of the decant wards means that they can be:
- installed on site within a short period of time and quickly available for occupation
- positioned in awkward and tight locations that may not be suitable for traditional construction
- extended or reconfigured for changing requirements
- relocated or removed at a later stage
- provided with minimal disruption to the hospital site
Maintenance
During the hire, our decant wards have a full monitoring and maintenance package. They are fully maintained by our dedicated service department and can be remote monitored ensuring that our facilities operate at an optimal level.
