Our Experience
Since 2002 PKL Healthcare has worked closely with NHS Trusts, Primary Care Trusts, Consultants, Contractors and Architects throughout the UK to successfully deliver over 100 specialist modular healthcare facilities.
We have considerable experience locating facilities in the tightest locations on hospital sites where space is at a premium. We can position the facility almost anywhere, from car parks and courtyards to rooftops and gantries.

Our Buildings
We have developed a fleet of modular healthcare facilities based on standard layouts, including temporary operating theatre suites, wards, recovery units and clinical support areas. These facilities are built with permanent building quality and have an operational life in excess of 25 years.
Bespoke complex medical buildings, such as diagnostic imaging suites, sterilisation facilities and laboratories can also be provided for temporary requirements.

Maintenance
All of our modular healthcare facilities are fully maintained by our dedicated service department and can be remote monitored ensuring that our facilities operate at an optimal level.

Hire Periods
Our facilities can be available for immediate hire with hire periods from a few months to several years.
Ease of Procurement
PKL Healthcare are Buying Solutions (formerly OGC Buying.Solutions) accredited suppliers of modular facilities. As an NHS approved, pre-tendered, fully auditable procurement system, Trusts can place orders direct with PKL Healthcare without the need for further competitive tender. This has been particularly effective in delivering hire facilities where timescale is an issue as it avoids the additional 3 - 4 months required by following the OJEU procedure.
