An NHS Trust in the South embarked on an ambitious scheme to provide temporary operating theatre capacity and surgical wards to help meet the critical 18 week Government target that had to be met by the end of the year.
A modular day surgery unit was provided to ensure no patient would wait longer than 18 weeks from their referral to the start of their hospital treatment.
