The Flagship Bevan ward is the first in a new wave of NHS 100% single-bed wards. The much-anticipated pilot ward was installed by PKL Healthcare into a prominent London hospital and features 3 different styles of single-bed room.
NHS trusts will be closely following the performance of each of the different rooms in the temporary ward with the results likely to influence the Department of Health's guidance on future 100% single-bed ward developments.
