The reality is our temporary healthcare facilities such as our temporary operating theatre suites are ultimately the most sustainable healthcare construction method - they can be moved from hospital to hospital and Trust to Trust as and when required rather than built and demolished which is the traditional approach.
Thermally efficient modular buildings
In addition to this, our healthcare facilities and operating theatres are well insulated (above and beyond the requirements of Building Control), high quality products, designed to insulate against the external ambient environment and lessen the duty of heating and cooling systems.
Optimal efficiency BMS systems
Mechanical and electrical energy expended is controlled and usage monitored through a BMS system and optional elements such as heat recovery coils or ground cooling systems, for example are offered.
