Alan joined MCH in September 2013 as General Manager and was appointed Managing Director in July 2019. Since joining the company Alan has helped to strengthen our relationships with both suppliers and customers, whilst implementing procedures for sales and marketing as well as ensuring the after sales support and maintenance of our facilities remain at a high standard throughout their lifecycle.

Alan has been instrumental in finalising several projects through to completion such as, West Middlesex Maternity Unit, Royal Berkshire Theatre and Ward complex, Birmingham Dental Paediatric Theatre and Recovery, Bedford Hospital Orthopaedic Theatre and more recently The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Theatre, Recovery and Ward complex. This growth has resulted in expanding the teams within sales, marketing and maintenance, all which Alan has managed successfully.

Amanda joined MCH in June 2012 as Finance Manager on an initial part time basis. Amanda's responsibilities included overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.

Amanda's role quickly developed as she become more and more established and integral for the growth of the business taking on more responsibility and becoming a full-time member of the team within several months.

After 7 years of playing a fundamental role in the success of MCH, Amanda was promoted to Finance Director in June 2019. Amanda continues to act as a connection between the finance team and the board, helping to drive strategy and hit targets using financial insight.

Richard Henry

Richard joined the MCH team in March 2020 as Business Development Manager. Richard oversees daily communications between the organisation and its healthcare clients, which include multiple NHS Trusts across the UK. 

Richard's previous roles include kitchen appliances distributor EPE International as a Regional Sales Manager along with almost four years in a similar role at Crown Paints between 2015 and 2018. 

He joined the team with more than 30 years’ experience working in business strategy and development and plays a key role in supporting MCH’s clients with the supply and maintenance of wards, theatres and other clinical facilities.

Claire started working for MCH in Feb 2013 as a Finance Assistant. During her time at MCH Claire has successfully completed her AAT Diploma Qualification.

Over her years with the company, Claire has demonstrated reliability and excellence in many of her duties which ultimately led to her role developing and evolving. Claire is now not only responsible for the monthly management accounts but also forecasting, budgeting and treasury management.

MCH drive to invest in their people, with Claire being a prime example of this. She has recently started her studies towards CIMA qualification. This qualification will not only provide Claire with additional accreditation and training but also gives the company an expert within the field.

Hannah joined the MCH family in January 2019 as Maintenance Administrator. After several successful years in a similar role, Hannah was able to come into the business and hit the ground running, which was vital as it made the transition for our clients seamless.

Hannah maintains good relationships with each site managed by the MCH Maintenance team, which is key when organising Pre Preventative Maintenance service visit and responding to urgent site visits to ensure our facilities remain maintained to the standard they were installed.

Matt joined the team in August 2022 as Maintenance manager. Matt’s day to day role consists of overseeing the planned and reactive maintenance of our facilities, working alongside Hannah our maintenance supervisor he ensures all works are completed in a timely manner. A key element to Matt’s role is being proactive in organising remedial works that are required to our facilities, ensuring that our high standards are maintained allowing world class care continues to be carried out within our healthcare environments.

Matt has spent his whole career in the Facilities Management (FM) industry, undertaking an electrical apprenticeship after leaving school.  His role includes looking after both and hard and soft services, along with the day to day running of the in-house engineering team.

Sam Scott

Marketing Executive

Sam joined the team in June 2022 as a marketing executive. Sam’s role consists of the day-to-day running of social media channels and overseeing all marketing activities. These include producing blogs, news articles and reports.

Sam recently graduated with a degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Central Lancashire. Sam’s previous role with Graham and Brown was in a similar capacity albeit within a different sector which has provided him with good groundworks and knowledge which has allowed him to start quickly.

He has joined the expanding MCH family as the baby of the team but has transitioned seamlessly into life with us and is bringing some youthful exuberance to the role.
